Joey and Nancy Andrews met in 1981 at a Chevrolet garage in Decatur, Michigan. He worked in the body shop- she worked in the office.

He left to open his own used car lot and body shop. She moved on to working at the Dowagiac Daily News/Niles Daily Star for the next 13 years. He moved on to car salesman and dabbling in different business ventures.

They were married in 1985. A son was born in 1988, a daughter in 1993.

In 1990 they opened 5 Mile U-Store It Inc, a storage facility, outside of Dowagiac. In 1991 they opened their first Quick Oil Change in Niles where it remains today. Though the name has changed from Performance Plus to Victory Lube Car Care Centers, it has always been one of the area's best known places to get an oil change.

In the fall of 1994 the Benton Harbor - Orchards Mall location was opened for business, followed by the Three Rivers store in the summer of 1995. In 1998 they built the Dowagiac Car & Truck Wash in Dowagiac. It is a 4-bay self-service carwash.

A little known fact - their FIRST EMPLOYEE STILL WORKS FOR THEM TODAY at the Three Rivers store as manager! AND - their manager in Benton Harbor has been there almost as long as that store has been open! Finishing those records off is the Niles manager who has been there for five years! THAT'S A TOTAL OF ALMOST 38 years experience just between the three managers!

In 2001 as the twin towers were falling, Nancy and Joe were tearing down part of their original building in Niles. It was replaced with a 4-bay self-service carwash with one automatic-touchless carwash. What an optimistic venture amidst a tragic time.

Finally, at the end of 2004 they opened the Harbor Wash carwash in Benton Harbor near the Quick Lube location on the Orchards Mall. It is a 6-bay self-service carwash with 2 automatic carwashes - a touchless and a softcloth.

Nancy and Joe continue to be part of the day-to-day operations along with other businesses in which they are involved.
